Three generations with ti leaves raised on the lava shore

Twelve weeks · begins September

The Bowl of Light

The complete protocol, taught live. Twelve teachings. One small hui.

What this is for

You already know the pattern. You don't know how to end it.

The sister you haven't spoken to in four years. The grief that arrives on the same date every year. The money that comes and goes without ever settling. The apology you rehearse and never give.

Hoʻoponopono means to set right. Not to feel better about. To set right.

The promise

Twelve weeks from now, the thing you are carrying will be lighter — or you will know exactly why it isn't.

The plan

One protocol each week.

Ninety minutes live with Kahu, Wednesdays at 6pm Hawaiʻi time. Recorded, so a timezone never costs you a week. Between sessions, one written practice from the manual her family kept.

Week 1

Kaona Kuleana ʻAnoʻano

Your reason for being. Before anything is set right, you decide what you are setting it right for.

Week 2

Kaona Kōkua Kuleana

Your mission. What you do in the world with what you have become.

Week 3

Kuʻu Manaʻo o ke Akua

What you believe about God, life and self — written in your own words, not inherited unexamined.

Week 4

Kānāwai Iwi Ola

Your standards. Eleven to thirteen truths you will hold when you are tried. You don't learn to shoot in the middle of the battle.

Week 5

Hui Kala Hoʻoponopono

Monitoring your state, one to ten. At six or below you do not trust your own thinking, and you do not make the call. Kahu says this step alone has saved marriages.

Week 6

Paʻao Pilikia Manaʻo

The unwelcomed guests. Naming every recurring thought that steals your mana — and giving each a ridiculous name so it stops being you.

Week 7

Poʻe ʻAumākua

The welcomed guests. Who you are deliberately inviting into the kingdom instead.

Week 8

Nā Maka o ke Akua

Naming the film of your last week honestly — and titling the next one before it starts.

Week 9

ʻŌlelo i ka Lei Aloha

There is life in the words and death in the words. A full audit of the language you use about yourself and everyone else.

Week 10

Mahalo Nui Loa

Victories and thanksgiving. Every time you chose differently, counted and honoured.

Week 11

E Kala Mai Iaʻu

Forgiveness. Mihi and kala — the repenting and the releasing. The week most people come for, placed eleventh because the first ten are what make it hold.

Week 12

Kapua Haumana

Demonstrations. The fruits you can point to and say: that happened because I did this differently.

Who is in the room

Small enough that she knows your name.

Kahu teaches the way she was taught — in a circle, by an elder who sees you.

What you receive

Everything, and nothing extra.

Live teaching

Twelve 90-minute sessions with Kahu Kāhealani, Wednesdays 6pm HST. All recorded.

The manual

Her family's working text — A Golden Mind, A Golden Life — with the written practice for each protocol.

Transmission

The Hoʻomanamana initiation, the Breath of Hā, offered once within the twelve weeks.

The hui

A private circle of fellow students for the full three months.

After

Lifetime access to your recordings, and the option to apply for the certification track.

Enrolment

Enter the September hui.

Dates are being finalised for September. Join the list and Kahu's office will write to you with the exact schedule before enrolment opens.

$3,333in full — or three payments of $1,111

If the fee is the only thing standing between you and this work, write to her and say so. She was taught that the teaching goes where it is needed.

For years I knew the patterns that kept me from the life I longed for, and had no idea how to break free. Her teachings were the missing piece.
