By invitation
To carry it forward
Conferred by Kahu Kāhealani. Never purchased.
A lineage is not a licence.
There are places online where you can be a certified hoʻoponopono practitioner by Friday for under a hundred dollars. This is not that, and it never will be.
To teach in a lineage is to be answerable to everyone in it, including the ones who are gone. Kahu confers it on people she has watched do the work.
How it goes
First
Complete the twelve weeks
The Bowl of Light course is the prerequisite, without exception. You cannot teach a protocol you have not lived through.
Then
Apply, and be seen
A written application and a conversation with Kahu. She is looking for people whose own bowl is being kept, not people with an audience.
Then
Study under her
An extended period of direct mentorship — teaching under supervision, receiving correction, and learning the protocol from the other side of the circle.
Finally
ʻŌlelo hoʻohiki
Certification, with the obligations that come with it: to teach it whole, to name where it came from, and never to sell it as four sentences.
The line continues
The line does not have to end inside one family.
That is the whole reason she opened it.
Applications open to graduates of the hui.
Tuition is discussed personally, because the commitment is not the same for everyone who asks. If this is what you are here for, start with the twelve weeks and tell Kahu along the way.
